I agree with this statement, because if someone is in prison for life then why not kill them because it would save a lot of money as we wouldn't need to pay to keep them in prison, such as feeding them, clothing them and letting them sit around all day watching tv.

I too agree with this statement as many taxpayers are paying for criminals to be staying in jail while getting free education, food and clothes. For example, the philpotts who man-slaughtered their children has got life sentences as a punishment, however I believe they should be killed for this kind of criminal act as us taxpayers are paying for them to live in jail.

I belive that corporal punishment should be made legal within the UK, but only for criminals who have committed horrifc crimes such as paedophila, rape and murder. People who have committed said crimes do not deserve to live a life with certain luxaries as they have taken away the right of someone else, whilts tax payers pay for their meals and comforts.

Whilst I agree that prisoners should be denied the luxuries they currently get in some prisons, killing them is not the right thing to do. The idea that it would "save time and money" is far from right because if you look at the US, some criminals spend years and years on death row - some even die waiting to die.
There's a whole host of moral arguments on top of this - for example, if we killed everyone sentenced for murder it's inevitable that innocent people would be killed along the line. The justice system is too flawed for this kind of thing.
